• Vitamin and supplement tracking
• Caffeine intake logs

1.3 Usage Data

We automatically collect:

• Device type and operating system
• App usage patterns and feature interactions
• Error logs for app improvement

• To provide personalised pregnancy and baby development content
• To power our AI assistant with context about your journey
• To generate health tracking charts and insights
• To send educational reminders and notifications (never medical alerts)
• To improve our app and content quality
• To provide customer support

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with encryption at rest and in transit. We use industry-standard security measures including:

• TLS/SSL encryption for all data transmission
• Row-level security (RLS) in our database
• Encrypted backups
• Regular security audits

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only with:

• Service providers who assist in operating our app (hosting, analytics)
• When required by law or to protect our legal rights
• With your explicit consent

In compliance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act):

BrightMinds Baby is designed for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. The child data collected (date of birth, developmental milestones) is entered by the parent or guardian.

Our app uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase: Database and authentication
• Anthropic Claude: AI assistant (questions are processed without storing personal identifiers)
• Razorpay: Payment processing (we do not store card details)
• Expo: App distribution and updates

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
